busy days

Today's been a really long day, I'm just quickly throwing here some pictures before going to bed! I was all day in the university test I've been talking about, and oh goood it was really hard. Tomorrow is the second day of the test, I hope it goes well. After that I'm having a meeting, and after that I'm coming home to pack up my things for Hamburg trip!

Tänään on ollut superpitkä päivä, tulin nopeasti päivittämään vielä blogia ennen kuin simahdan unten maille. Koko päivä kului Metropolian pääsykokeissa, huomenna toinen pitkä päivä edessä. Huhhuh, vaikeat tehtävät oli, toivotaan että huomenna sujuisi hyvin. Kokeen jälkeen vielä yksi tapaaminen, sitten tulen kotiin pakkailemaan tavaroita Hampurin matkaa varten!

hamburg 1.-7.6!!

I've planned visiting my cousin in Hamburg for soo long, and now it's finally going to happen, already next week! Just bought the tickets, so now it's official! Can't wait to see my cousin! And also Hamburg, I've never been there but I've heard it's beautiful.

I'll leave there right the next day after my second phase university test, so it gives me even more motivation to study now. It's going to be a perfect start for summer and relaxing after the test. I'm so happyyyy!

Olen jo pitkään suunnitellut Hampurissa käyntiä serkkuni luona, ja nyt se vihdoin toteutuu! Juuri sain liput varattua, lähtö on heti Metropolian toisen vaiheen kokeiden jälkeen, eli vajaan viikon päästä jo. En malta oottaa, tulee täydellinen kesän aloitus! Plus rentoutuminen niiden kokeiden jälkeen, tosta sain vielä lisämotivaatiota tsemppaamaan niissä!

turku weekend

I'm home! What a great trip, I'm already looking forward to the next one! Today was a rainy day, but I guess it's a good weather for sitting in a bus and sleeping. Luckily yesterday was still sunny, as you can see below.

Noniiin, kotona ollaan! Tänään oli aika sateista ja harmaata, mutta eipä se nyt hirveästi haitannut kun päivän ohjelmaan juuri muuta kuulunut kuin bussissa istumista ja nukkumista. Eilen oli vielä onneksi ihanan lämmintä ja aurinkoista, niinkuin näätte kuvista.

I didn't pack much stuff with me, so I used that straw hat a lot. It really brightens up boring outfits! I definitely need more hats!! Those tights are new from H&M.

Pakkasin aika vähän mukaan, mutta ainakin kaikki vaatteet pääsivät käyttöön. Olkihattu varsinkin oli tylsien asujen pelastaja, tarvitsen niiin lisää hattuja! Kuvassa näkyvät sukkikset ovat uudet, H&M:stä.

My things packed up. Now the suitcase is waiting to be unpacked, but I'll leave that for tomorrow, I'm so tired right now. Watching movie with popcorns sounds better.

Tavarat pakattuina juuri ennen lähtöä. Nyt laukku odottaa eteisessä purkamista, mutta taidan jättää sen huomiselle, väsyttää sen verran. Leffa ja popcornit houkuttelevat enemmän!

turku trip

On Friday I came to visit my lovely friend to Turku, I haven't seen her in such a long time!
It's been soo much fun: my best friend, summery weather, good food, laughing (till it looks like I'm crying), shopping, going out, sleeping late (woke up after 3pm today, whoops), etc. Still two more days here, I'll try to take lots of pictures! Here's some taken so far.

Turussa siis taas ollaan! Perjantaina tänne kaverin kämppään majoituin ja maanantaihin asti olisi tarkoitus olla. Täällä on taas niin parhautta, niin kuin aina: parasta seuraa, hyvää ruokaa, kesäiset ilmat, nauramista niin että vedet vuotaa silmistä, shoppailua, ulkona käymistä, myöhään nukkumista (eilen herättiin puol neljän aikaan, hups!), ym.

I'm in love with my new heels from Topshop, pure perfection. They're even comfortable to walk in because of that strap. My brother said they're so high it looks like I'm standing on a tower, haha, not quite that high..

tallinn cruise

On Wednesday I visited Tallinn with my friend, below you can see what I wore that day. We had only three hours to spend there (for shopping!) so I didn't have time to take pictures. Too bad, because it was so beautiful there! Only the last pictures are taken on the trip.

(Blogger somehow managed to disappear my newest post and the comments, booo so frustrating! But I guess that happened to almost every blog in blogspot.. Well, here it comes again, written on Thursday. It was Friday 13th when this happened, just wondering if that had something to do with this...)

Guess what?! Today I got a letter that I've been accepted to a second phase to the school I sent my preliminary work. Wow, I didn't see this coming though I worked hard for that, but there were so many applicants and so few places. The second phase determines who gets the study places at last, and it's held on the two last days this month. I have to start preparing myself for that now!

Today was a warm clear day, felt like summer. I celebrated Mother's Day at our grandma's place, eating cheesecake and seeing my cousins. The closer summer gets the more energetic and happy I feel. So much nice things coming up, and oh, summer. Perfect.

Tänään oli ihanan lämmin ja pilvetön päivä, melkein tuntui jo kesältä! Äitienpäivää vietin mummulla (alla olevassa asussa), juustokakkua syöden ja serkkuja nähden. Mitä lähemmäs kesä tulee, sitä enemmän tuntuu energiaa löytyvän. Niin paljon kivoja jänniä juttujakin vielä edessä. Täydellistä!

coral shorts

I ordered these pants from H&M some time ago, but they didn't really fit me, knees were kinda baggy and weird. Since the color was so nice and these wasn't that expensive either, I decided to try cutting these into shorts. And it was worth cutting, now as shorts they fit perfectly, yey! I think I'm ready for summer!

Tilasin kirkkaan korallin väriset housut Hennesiltä jokin aika sitten, mutta eihän nämä istuneet ollenkaan niinkuin olisi pitänyt, polvien kohdalta pussitti oudosti ja muutenkin jotain oli vialla. Väri oli niin kiva etten raskinut takaisin lähettää, kun ei erityisen kalliitkaan olleet, niin päätin kokeilla shortseiksi napsimista. Ja kyllä kannatti, niistä tuli nimittäin täydelliset!

I lovelovelove my new jacket. I got it today from H&M showroom, where I was invited to pick up my favourites from this spring and summer collection. Immediately when I saw this jacket hanging there I knew I had to have it. If only I could find a black one too..
