Answers - part two

Finally I got this done! I tried to make this less boring by throwing some old pictures here and there, hahha.. Rest of the questions will be on the third and the last answer post.

Why do you blog?

I love doing it and it just feels natural to me. My favourite hobby!

When did you start blogging?

Umm, 5 years ago if I remember right. My first blog was called Fashion Diary, which I wrote anonymously. After that I wrote another blog with 4 other girls. And after that I started this.

Did u expect that your blog will become so popular?

No, not at all. It's still hard to realize how many people are reading this.

How did you get so much readers? any clues?

I don't know, this should be asked from my readers. But I guess it forwards to others how much I enjoy doing this. Blogging is like practical training for being a fashion journalist, which is my dream job!:-D

Have you any tips on how to make a blog as successful as yours? How would you characterize a good blog, which you like to follow?

I wouldn't call my blog successful, sounds kinda funny. I personally like blogs where the writers' personality is showing. I don't have any special tips, just that be yourself, blog like it's just for yourself, about the things you're interested in. Make it to look like you, then it's interesting and unique. Hahah, kinda corny tip!

Do you know many people with a blog personally?

Not many, actually only the ones I've got to know through blogging.

Hard to choose, but maybe some that I've read for years, like Le Blog de Betty, fashiontoast and Behind The Seams.

Do you spend alot of time on the internet?

Yeah, usually I do. Sometimes little less, if I'm really busy.

What websites do you visit most?

Blogger and Facebook are maybe the most visited.

Are you on facebook?

Yes I am. But unfortunately I don't really add people I don't know as friends..

Do you carry the camera with you all the places you go?

No I don't, I always forgot! I should carry it with me more often.

Do you take photos everyday? How often?

Not everyday, it varies how often. Outfit pictures are taken mostly on weekends and I myself photograph things randomly when I feel like doing it.

Who takes the photos of you ?

My family or friends. I'm bad at using self timer..

Do you edit your pictures? I mean like everything from minor changes brightness/contrast to major changes in your photos. Which program do you use?

With Photoshop CS2 I first make my pictures smaller to fit here, then if/when I edit I edit the whole picture not some single parts in it. Like add some light if it's too dark, most often I'm using the commands auto levels/auto color/auto contrast, which is supposed to make the picture look like it naturally looked, lightnings and colors and stuff.

What camera do you have? Do you recommend it?

I have Nikon D60. I can definitely recommend it, can't think of any reason why not.

Do you read all the comments you get from people for your posts?

Yes, I always read all the comments.

Do people recognize you sometimes on the streets or something?

Sometimes yeah. It's really weird!

Know your friends that you've got a blog?

Yep. At least the closest ones.

Do you have many friends or just few close ones? Can you post pictures of them?

I have only a few close ones, but those few are like really close ones. Yeah maybe I could!

What do you like to do when your with your friends?

Talk with them, laugh with them, share our good and bad things with each other, go out or just hang with them. All the basic stuff.

Are you close to your parents? Do you consider your mom and dad to be your friends rather than your parent? Do you talk alot to them?

I'm really close to my parents, but I'm not sure if I could consider them as my friends. I talk with them about every kinds of things, but some things are that kind of things I share rather with my friends. They don't need to know everything :-D

Do you live with your parents? If no then who do you live with?

I'm still living with my parents. I don't think I'll move out until I get a study place.

What kind of work does your parents do?

My mum works for a Finnish TV-channel and my dad owns a bakery/bread kind of thing with his brother.

Are your parents rich?

Not rich but not either poor.

Do you've got a sister or a brother?

I have an older brother. A couple months ago hi moved to a city called Vaasa, where he is studying now.. Below you can see his picture!

Do you have a boyfriend?

No.

How many boyfriends have you had?

3 I guess.

Would you like to have a boyfriend or are you a lucky single girl?

At the moment I'm happy being single, I want to have a boyfriend only if I get to know someone who I want to be with.

Are you in love?

Nope

How do you describe perfect candidate for your husband?

I don't have any image in my head of a perfect husband, I don't know how to describe him until I just meet him. But if I had to name some characters, he should have a good sense of humor and an easygoing attitude towards life.

Could you imagine to marry someone who is not finnish, or doesn't that matter to you?

Of course I could! So no, it doesn't matter to me.

You have a dog? Is it he or she?

Yep, our dog Nessu is a female.

There must be some girls who are jealous of you and are nasty to you. How do you deal with that and them?

I don't think it's jealousy, but yeah there are someones who doesn't like me. I don't really have to deal with that or with them, I just hang out with the people I get along well with.

What role did you have in the classroom? For example: Were you the silent one, the diva, the smart one etc.

Maybe the silent/shy one? I don't consider myself as that much shy but I've heard from some others that I seem like a shy person. In big groups I can be kinda quiet sometimes.

Are you a girl who's popular?

No..

If you are attending, what do you study at University?

At the moment I'm studying journalism courses only in an open university. I'm applying next spring to a bunch of universities, where I could study journalism or graphic design!

How do you study or learn? Do you like to write lots of notes out or type them out etc. Do you have a special way of remembering things?

I used to make notes, that was useful way for me to remember things. Though I didn't always have the time or the effort to do that.

What kinds of job do you do? And how do you get them ?

Mostly all the jobs I've had have been customer service. I've left my job application and cv to those places and through that been invited to job interviews. The job in Italy I got through contacts.

Where do you work?

At the moment I don't have any permanent job, but I'm doing every now and then something, like now I've been assisting once a week in a finnish TV-show called Salatut Elämät, like being on the background of the scenes, sitting in a cafe etc. Hahah, such an exhausting job! I also write a blog for Vila, I guess that's also a little job.

What job do you want to do later?

Journalism. After that maybe graphic design..

If you could work for any magazine, which one would you choose?

Vogue or Elle or some big one.

Would you like to be famous?

No.

Does Finnish language differs of English language?

Yeah a lot, it's hard to find any similarity.

In which city were you in germany?

Berlin. It was wonderful. Now my cousin lives in Hamburg, I can't wait to visit her there!

Do you want to visit Estonia one more time?

I've actually already planned a little christmas shopping trip to Tallinn with my friend, we're going there next tuesday!!!

What would you say are the differences between Swedish men, Finnish men and Norwegian men? (in general)

I can't really say, I don't know anything about Norwegian men. And all I know about Swedish men is that they're stylish. :D

Why can you speak German?

I studied it in school for 9 years.

What do you think about Tokio Hotel?

They have a cool personal style but I don't like their music that much.

Have you driving licence?

Not yet. I've driven all the driving lessons and completed the theory parts, I should just take the final driving test but I've postponed it now quite a long time, whoops..

Miks puhut sun blogissa englannin kieltä?

Suurin osa lukijoista on Suomen ulkopuolelta, mut tästä lähtien voisin kirjottaa myös vähän suomekskin. Englanniks kirjottaminen on myös tuntunut suht luontevalta ja sopivalta ratkasulta.

Mitä harrastat?

En tiiä mikä kaikki lasketaan harrastuksiks, mut tykkään piirtää, lukea, blogata, nukkua, syödä, nähdä kavereita, kattoa tv:tä, datailla, käydä koiran kaa lenkillä, kokata ym :-)

Mitä olet harrastanut?

Tennistä, sulkkista, tanssia (mm.balettia, jazzia, showta, streettiä).

Tällä hetkellä vaan hyötyliikuntaa ja koiran kaa lenkkeilyä! Mut varmaan kohta taas alotan pari kertaa viikossa salilla käymisen pitkästä aikaa, siellä tykkäsin pilateksesta ja bodypumpista.

kuinka monta poikaystävää sulla on ollu ja kuin vakavii suhteit ja minkä ikäsenä suunnillee ?

Ollut 3 poikaystävää, pisin suhde oli vähän päälle vuoden, toinen puolet siitä, kolmas vähän lyhyempi ja ei niin vakava. Eka vakava suhde 16-17v.

Asutko omassa asunnossa?

En, vanhempien luona vielä.

Onko sulla meikki-tai hiuspostausta erikseen? Jos ei, niin voisit kertoa jotain hiustenlaitostas ja meikkauksestas

Meikkipostaus löytyy täältä. Ja hiustenlaitosta, hmm, pesen niitä normaaleilla markettishamppoilla, käytän jätettäviä hoitoaineita että saan kammattua selviks, sit muotovaahtoa ja föönaan. Viimeistelen hiuslakalla, yleensä suihkin sitä vaan miten sattuu ja sotken samalla vähän hiuksia. Joskus tupeeraan tyvestä päällishiusten alla olevia hiuksia.

Pidätkö elokuvista ja mikä on lempparisi?

Tykkään paljon! Näitä mä ehinkin jo listailla mutta siis: Love Actually, The Holiday, In Her Shoes, 500 Days of Summer, Shutter Island, Inception. Uusin Harry Potter jonka viime viikonloppuna näin oli myös hyvä! Potterit on vaan parhaita 8)

Ketä julkkista ihannoit?

Ihannoin on ehkä liian vahva sana, mutta tykkään mm. Cameron Diazista, Rachel McAdamsista, Rachel Bilsonista, Olivia Palermosta, Olseneista, Keira Knightleysta ja Ellie Gouldingista. Joistain laulajina, joistain näyttelijöinä ja joistan vaan kivojen tyylien takia.

Noo en kai mitenkään erityisemmin, yleisesti kasvoja hoidan noilla puhdistusaineilla ja rasvoilla.

Mitä kautta pääsit Stockan Hulluille päiville töihin?

Olin jouluapulaisena viime jouluna siellä, sitä kautta sit pyydettiin uudestaan töihin hullareille keväällä+syksyllä, eli nää oli mun tokat hullarit.

Mistä löydät aina kaikki biisit? Tai seuraatko jotain sivuu mihin tulee kaikkia uusimpia?

Tarkkailetko paljon syömisiäsi?

En liikaa. Syön kai suurimmaks osaks perusterveellistä tavallista ruokaa, mutta herkkujakin tulee syötyä, joka päivä. :D

Paljonko painat?

Ei mitään tietoa. Ei meillä oo kotonakaan vaakaa, mikä ei kyllä haittaa yhtään, peilistä sen näkee mitä nyt tarttee nähdä.

mikä on lempi ja inhokki ruokasi?

Lemppareita tortillat, salaatit (esim kana+feta!), pizza, kiinalainen ja erilaiset wokit ja padat. Inhokkeja pinaattikeitto, kaalikääryleet, lihaperunasoselaatikko.

mikä on lempi ja inhokki juomasi?

Lemppareita kokis zero, tee, chai latte, kaakao. Inhokkeja kahvi, appelsiinimehu, fanta, jaffa, ja kaikki lime/greippi/muut eksoottiset limut...

mistä ruuasta et ennen pitänyt mutta nyt pidät?

Näitä on monia, esim. pizza ja jätski. Miten en oo voinut tykätä niistä pienenä?!?

millaset sun hiukset on luonnostaa? (: piikkisuorat vai laineikkaat niinkun kuvis?

Ne on suorat, mut sellaset taipuisat. En ikinä kiharra niitä millään laitteilla, nutturalla vaan, sillä saa hyvin taipuisuutta korostettua. Suorimmat ne on sillon kun oon just pessyt ja vaan föönaan ja lakkaan, mitä kauemmin oon pesemättä sitä laineikkaammiks menee. :D

miten laitat ne, voisitko tehä siit joskus postauksen/ootko jo tehny?

Nyt täytyis varmaan vähän ryhdistäytyä ja tehä se hiuspostaus, oon lupaillut sitä jo varmaan vuoden. :D Tulossa on!

Kuinka paljon rahaa kuukaudes kulutat vaatteisii/meikkeihin suunnilleen ?

Vaikee sanoo mitään summaa, vaihtelee niin paljon! 20e-200e?

Avoimessa yliopistossa vaan, journalismin kursseja. Tarkotus ois hakea ens keväänä taas eri paikkoihin.

Missä käyt töissä, ja kuinka pitkiä päiviä?

En oo tällä hetkellä töissä vakituisesti missään, jotain yksittäisiä työjuttuja on sillon tällön. Oon käynyt parisen kertaa salkkareissa avustamassa, eilen viimeks, ja seuraavaks taas ens torstaina. Ainiin, kai sekin lasketaan työks, että kirjotan Vilalla blogia. Ei siis tällä hetkellä mitään erityisen rankkaa työtä tai pitkiä päiviä. :-D

Mitä kouluja olet käynyt?

Toppelundin ala-asteen, Haukilahden ylä-asteen, Etelä-Tapiolan lukion.

Mitkä aineet ja millä arvosanoilla kirjotit ylppäreissä?

Terveystieto, lyhyt matikka, enkku, ruotsi, äikkä, saksa. M:n paperit tuli.

Voitko kertoa vähän sun ruokailutottumuksista?

Mitähän sitä nyt kertois.. Syön päivässä n.5 kertaa, 2 ateriaa ja muut ns.välipaloja. Syön ihan perusruokaa: kanaa/kalaa/lihaa+perunaa/riisiä/pastaa, salaatteja ja kasviksia, leipää ja jogurttia, kaikennäköstä. Herkuteltua tulee myös päivittäin. Tosi tylsän kuulonen vastaus, mutta mulla ei oo mitään erikoisruokavaliota.

Onko tyylisi muuttunut paljon vuosien aikana? Voitko laittaa jotain vanhoja kuvia entisestä tyylistäsi?

On se muuttunut joo, voisin tehä tästä joskus erillisen postauksen! Jos kehtaan :-D

Kuinka paljon sinulla menee rahaa kuussa vaatteisiin ja ostatko paljon vaatteita kirpputoreilta?

Tosi vaikee arvioida, 0-200e varmaan. Nyt en oo ostanut muistaakseni Pariisin reissun jälkeen mitään vaatteita, eli välillä tulee taukoja ja sit välillä löytyy kerralla paljonkin. Kirppareilta oon tainnut löytää vaan laukkuja, pitäis käydä tutkimassa useemmin niitä!

Mulla on muutama tosi hyvä kaveri, ei mitään isoa kaveriporukkaa

Suksilla laskettelen! Joskus yritin opetella laudalla mut ei siitä tullut mitään, kun alusta asti oon suksilla lasketellu nii niihin sit juurruin

Kuin kauan oot lasketellu?

Ihan pienestä asti, 6-vuotiaana kai suunnilleen alotin.
